Guidelines
Book-A-Librarian is available if you need in-depth one-on-one help for a 30 minute session. Please fill out the form below or ask a staff member for a physical form. You are limited to two sessions per month. Please come prepared with your specific device that you need help with and any passwords you may need. Please allow 1-3 business days to hear from us.
Examples of what we CAN help you with:
- How to use our digital resources (Libby, Kanopy, Hoopla, etc.)
- Basic device help
- How to set up an email address & basic email how-to
- Local history & genealogy
- Conducting research online
- Basic resume and cover letter help
- Online applications
What we CANNOT help you with:
- Any medical, legal, financial, or business advice
- Setting up brand new devices, including transferring files
- Repairing broken devices
- Entering sensitive information such as social security numbers or banking information
